Volunteer Guidelines
Safety is of utmost importance at Murphy Middle School. In order to make your volunteer time enjoyable, please review the school volunteer guidelines.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are several volunteer opportunities for parents and families of Murphy Middle School. You may fill out your preferences on our Volunteer Form and return it to the school. A PTA representative will contact you.

Volunteer Hours
It is important to keep track of the hours you volunteer. Whether work done in school, or projects taken home, all of your hours spent on school items is hours to be logged.
Log Your Volunteer Hours Online
One last thing...
Before anyone can volunteer in school, you must have your background check on file with the office. Please go to Volunteer Application at PISD site. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application. A notarized form will no longer be required to be on file at school. At the end of the session you will not be prompted to print as in the past.
